In Seacroft, Leeds, a woman’s body was discovered inside her residence.
On Monday night, September 19, residents on Brooklands Lane saw a significant police presence. In the vicinity, two police cars, a police van, and two ambulances were observed.
Witnesses reported that emergency vehicles looked to be blocking the street, and that emergency services had been present in the residential area during the night.
West Yorkshire Police (WYP) confirmed on Tuesday morning that a woman in her sixties had been declared deceased in a home. The Coroner’s Office has been notified, and there were no suspicious circumstances.
WYP confirmed: “At 11:24 p.m. on Sunday, when responding to an address in Brooklands Lane, Seacroft, where a woman in her sixties had been declared deceased, the ambulance service called the police.
“There were no suspicious circumstances and the Coroner’s Office has been informed.”
