The League One coach of Sheffield Wednesday, who will face the Owls tonight, has stated that his team has a wonderful supporter base that most clubs would be jealous of.

Danny Rohl will try to move past the disappointment of a late draw with QPR at the weekend as he leads Sheffield Wednesday to Bloomfield Road for an EFL Cup match this evening.

After managing Sheffield Wednesday for a short while in 2019, Blackpool manager Steve Bruce departed the team to take a position at Newcastle United, his home team.

Blackpool, led by the seasoned strategist, is about to square off against the Owls with the intention of upsetting them.

The Blackpool manager emphasised that Sheffield Wednesday is a large club with a rich history and that, despite his brief tenure as manager, he is honoured to have led the Owls.

Bruce also said that he would not have left the Owls if Newcastle had not arrived, highlighting the fact that most teams are envious of Sheffield Wednesday because of their incredible fan base.

Bruce was quoted by the Blackpool Gazette as saying, “I know all about them.”

“I was fortunate enough to oversee them for a brief while,”

“Who knows what might have occurred if Newcastle hadn’t called beforehand.

I had a great time, and their support system is exceptional, making it the envy of many.

“They have a long history and are a big club.”

In the second round of the EFL Cup, Rohl’s team overcame Grimsby Town; however, it is unclear if they will be able to advance to the next round this evening.
