The 38-year-old man who passed away during a brawl in a Rotherham parking lot has been identified as Lee Davies.
The incident that occurred on Drummond Street early on Tuesday, June 18, resulted in the death of Mr. Davies.
Three males who were detained on suspicion of murder—ages 37, 26, and 45—remain in jail. Since then, the 36-year-old lady who was also detained has been freed.
Det Ch Insp Ben Wood of South Yorkshire Police sent out a letter to the locals, saying: “I would encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to our officers and you will likely notice an increased police presence in the area.”
“We have established two cordons in Rotherham, and investigations into the events leading up to Lee’s death.”
