Kevin Maher, the manager of SOUTHEND United, claims that his team has benefited from having the best support in the nation this season.
The Shrimpers are scheduled to play Rochdale on Saturday in front of a sold-out Roots Hall to wrap up their National League campaign.
Maher also thinks there aren’t any greater supporters in England.
“I’m sure we’ll have another full house at Roots Hall,” stated Maher.
“We experienced the same kind of noise at Scunthorpe around this time last year, and it was fantastic at Fylde on Saturday.
“They’re the best fans in the country with the way we travel and support the players, they’re unbelievable.”
More than 7,100 tickets have already been sold for Blues’ match this weekend.
