“For a coach like Griff, everything was about togetherness from day one,” Antetokounmpo said.
“He was always steering this group in the path we determined at the start of the year. Despite the fact that he is not present, we are still humans. It harms everyone. “But we have to keep pushing forward. We have a goal in mind: we want to be the finest basketball team possible.”

The Golden State Warriors paid respect to Dejan Milojevic before their first home game after the assistant coach’s death.
Before their 134-112 victory over the Atlanta Hawks, the Serbian national song was performed, and each player wore a jersey with his name on it during warm-ups before placing it on top of a coach’s chair on the sideline.

“It was not easy, but I thought our guys did a really good job of adjusting to the game,” remarked head coach Steve Kerr. “It was very emotional.” As the ball was tipped, many guys burst into tears.
