Leeds United have agreed to sell Luis Sinisterra to Bournemouth permanently this week, with an announcement expected soon, while Jaidon Anthony will leave Elland Road at the end of the season.

Leeds’ transfer dealings this season has seen a number of players who are not dedicated to the cause leave the club due to loan clauses.

Luis Sinisterra was the last to jump ship in the summer, leaving late on deadline day for Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Sky Sports’ Mark McAdam revealed on Thursday that Leeds and Bournemouth had agreed to turn Sinisterra’s loan at the Vitality Stadium into a permanent deal.

The amount is £20 million, and the Cherries have converted their option to buy before the summer to avoid missing out.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday morning that the winger has signed all of the necessary documentation to become a permanent Bournemouth player:

As part of the agreement that brought the Colombian to the South Coast, Jaidon Anthony was loaned out the other way.

Anthony has not been a regular for Leeds so far, with Crysencio Summerville securing the left-wing position, and it appears that he will not be staying at Elland Road beyond 23/24.

The Bournemouth Echo reported that Leeds and the Cherries had reached an agreement on Sinisterra, and that Anthony will leave Leeds at the end of the season, returning to Andoni Iraola’s pre-season in the summer.

Anthony does not appear to be a long-term fit at Leeds, since we already have two younger wingers, Summerville and Willy Gnonto, who are perhaps better.

His presence in the squad is vital at the present, however, because he has proven to be an asset to the team.

With FFP limitations in place, this £20 million acquisition should provide us some breathing room in the summer.
