Julius Randle’s dislocated right shoulder will keep him out for at least two weeks, including the All-Star break.
Randle was injured Saturday after taking a hard fall on a drive to the hoop late in the Knicks’ victory over Miami. He underwent tests and has been given treatment alternatives.
Randle will be evaluated again in two to three weeks, the Knicks announced on Thursday. The Knicks play their final game before the break on February 14 and won’t play again until February 22, which is precisely three weeks away.
Randle was back to his All-Star form, averaging 24 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists a game. The Knicks finished 14-2 in January and had won eight consecutive entering into Thursday’s game against Indiana.
