The craziest mascot in the NBA has returned to the court.
For a short period, the King Cake Baby is returning to New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center. Pelicans fans can see the diaper-wearing mascot at home games until February 5, according to team spokesperson Sam Shannon.
The mascot will also appear this weekend at Thibodaux’s King Cake Festival.
Shannon told the magazine that if such sightings aren’t enough, he is also available for private appointments. The gigantic baby charges $150 for 30 minutes and $300 for one hour.

The mascot is based on the king cake tradition, which honors the biblical tale of three kings bringing presents to Jesus. Cakes are frequently decorated in yellow, green, and purple and filled with fruit and cream cheese. Inside lies the surprise: a plastic baby, which is normally far less terrifying than the human-sized one roaming the Smoothie King Center’s courts.
