The NBA All-Star Game reserves for this year were announced on Thursday night, and Kentucky fans had seven reasons to be proud.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a guard with the Oklahoma City Thunder, was named the starter a few weeks ago. However, following SGA, there are still six more Wildcats in play.
Bam Adebayo Miami Heat, Julius Randle New York Knicks, injured and Tyrese Maxey Philadelphia 76ers are Kentucky’s Eastern Conference representatives.
Anthony Davis Los Angeles Lakers leads the Western Conference, while Devin Booker Phoenix Suns and Karl-Anthony Towns Minnesota Timberwolves follow.
All seven players including SGA, of course are having excellent seasons, not only scoring but also positively impacting their squad and how it plays together.
This year’s NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in Indianapolis, IN from February 16th to 18th. The All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday, February 18th at 8 PM ET, with several events preceding up to it.
