Jose Trevino, recently acquired by the Cincinnati Reds from the New York Yankees, is set to wear jersey number 56 with his new team.
Trevino, a 32-year-old catcher, was traded to the Reds in exchange for reliever Fernando Cruz and catcher Alex Jackson.
Known for his defensive prowess, Trevino was an All-Star and Gold Glove winner in 2022.
In the 2024 season, he batted .215 with eight home runs and 28 RBIs over 74 games.
