Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s Amario Cozier-Duberry this summer.

Newcastle United is one of several clubs interested in signing Arsenal starlet Amario Cozier-Duberry this summer.

Should a new contract not be negotiated, the 18-year-old will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season. Clubs are monitoring his condition and considering a move.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are ‘in negotiations’ with the player to sign a new contract, with conversations ‘ongoing’. Whether a new arrangement is imminent is unknown.

Newcastle is interested in signing the winger on a free transfer in the summer if talks fail. Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Anderlecht, and Wolves are also interested in a transfer.

Cozier-Duberry came from Emirates Stadium’s youth squads. In eight Premier League 2 games for Arsenal U21, he has scored four times and provided two assists.

He was called up to the first team after impressing for the younger teams. He was an unused substitute in September’s Carabao Cup win over Brentford and November’s Champions League Group encounter against Sevilla. Arsenal’s B list for Champions League knockouts includes the youngster.

Newcastle prioritizes buying future players. They signed Alfie Harrison from Manchester City on January deadline day, with the 18-year-old joining the youth team at St James’ Park.
