The January transfer window saw Newcastle United forward Miguel Almiron linked with a move elsewhere.

Saudi clubs tried to sign the Paraguayan international, but the deal fell through.

Dean Jones of Give Me Sport said that the 29-year-old will depart Newcastle and not play next season. Newcastle must generate money to sign top players at the end of the season, and they have a limited budget.

It will be intriguing to see where 29-year-old utility man Almiron ends up after the season.

I expect a decent Newcastle team revamp in the summer. Newcastle made it plain they have little transfer market spending power.

“I think we will see a big push to define who will be in the squad between now and the summer. I expect a strong commercial push to boost revenue.

“Players like Almiron will leave. Despite not leaving in the offseason, he won’t be at Newcastle next season.

The Paraguayan attacker can play as a central attacking midfielder or winger. He’s impressed with his inventiveness, goal scoring, and adaptability since joining the Premier League.

Committed to pressing and defense, the 29-year-old forward aids out. Most clubs may benefit from his signing.

The dynamic attacker should have plenty of suitors after his Premier League campaign. Almiron is at his best and wants to play for a team. A transfer to Saudi Arabia may not be optimal for him.
