Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper, is the next major person to appear on the All the Smoke podcast. The 52-year-old discussed a variety of things there, including who he believes are the five best players in the NBA right now.

“That motherf***** from the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic,” Snoop’s voice continued. “…That n***a right there, off the tippy. When Ja Morant comes on the court, I can’t even pretend; that n***a is different… “He’s a goon with the spoon.”

Snoop applauded Morant for improving his outside shot, saying he deserves to be rewarded when he does well.

“I like the n***a from the Oklahoma City Thunder (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander),” he went on to say. “That n***a plays like Snoop Dogg. I like him. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been turning his lights on and off, guy. Joel Embiid is the same way. Wait a minute, Embiid, keep his light on a little longer. I’ll throw him in there.”

Snoop had many huge names to choose from for his final pick, but he chose a budding superstar.

“And one more?” “The young goon from Minnesota (Anthony Edwards),” Snoop said. “That n***a is going to bang on your a**… That is my top five right now. There are no Lakers in there right now. There’s no disrespect. (LeBron James) You’re coming off the bench because you’re an old a** n***a with that game. “You still show up, n***a.”

So we have Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Joel Embiid, and Anthony Edwards, with LeBron James receiving an honorable mention. Snoop praised the 39-year-old for continuing to perform admirably in his 21st season in the NBA, where he averages 24.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game.

Overall, this is a very intriguing collection. Snoop seems to have a negative attitude on Giannis Antetokounmpo, which is surprising. There won’t be many top five lists without Giannis, but everyone is allowed to their own perspective. Other notable omissions from this list include Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic, and Stephen Curry, who are not even listed.

Snoop Dogg Wants the Lakers to Make Moves

Snoop is a longtime Los Angeles Lakers fan, and he is dissatisfied with the team’s performance this season. Snoop suggested in this episode that Lakers governor Jeanie Buss has to relocate some furnishings due to the team’s terrible start.

“We’re gonna have to move some furniture,” Snoop said. “We’re going to have to relocate some things quickly. Some large pieces of furniture, if you understand what I mean. We need to rearrange some furniture and put some dogs on the court because whenever a young team comes into town, we freeze up. We can deal with the old dogs, but when those young guys arrive to town… Jeanie, what are we based on? “Get some young guns out there.”

He wants to bring in players that are younger and more athletic than the present roster. The Lakers, who are currently 23-23 on the season, are virtually surely going to make a move before the February 8 deadline. Dejounte Murray’s name has repeatedly come up, but it remains to be seen whether they can make a play for him.
