The Chicago Bulls announced Saturday that forward Zach LaVine will miss the remainder of the season due to a right foot injury.

The Bulls announced that LaVine, a two-time All-Star, will undergo surgery next week following consultation with the team’s training and medical staff. He is likely to be out for four to six months.

The 28-year-old LaVine hasn’t played since Jan. 18 due to an ankle injury, missing the last six games for Chicago after missing 17 earlier this season due to a persistent foot condition.

The Bulls are 23-26 and rank ninth in the Eastern Conference standings heading into Saturday.
