The following lists the six St. Helens roads that will be closed this week for construction.
The St Helens Council is resurfacing the highway at the intersection of Ashcroft Street, Parr Street, and Park Road.
These are from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7.
Rainhill’s School Lane
A BT pole replacement is happening 50 metres away from The Whitehouse.
This is June 4th, a Tuesday.
From Hawthorn Avenue to Poplar Avenue, Newton-le-Willows Cadent Gas is replacing the gas mains on Oak Avenue.
This is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, through Monday, June 3.

The whole length of Barrowfield Road is being resurfaced as a carriageway by Eccleston St Helens Council.
This is scheduled for June 6–7, Thursday through Friday.
St Helens’ Duke Street
The St Helens Council is currently resurfacing the highway between Talbot Street and New Cross Street.
This is scheduled on June 8 and June 9 on Saturday and Sunday.
The highway between Old Lane to Portico Avenue is being resurfaced by Portico Lane, Portico St Helens Council.
This is scheduled on June 8 and June 9 on Saturday and Sunday.
