The victory parade will offer fans a chance to join in the celebrations with the players, as the trophy makes its way through Stockport’s streets.
Starting with a private civic ceremony at Stockport Town Hall, the team will then embark on the parade at 3pm, following a route from Edward Street across the A6, down Greek Street and Mercian Way, turning onto Hardcastle Road, and concluding at Edgeley Park around 3:40pm.
At about 4 p.m., after the procession, there will be a trophy presentation inside Edgeley Park.
To watch the champions being presented on the pitch, fans are urged to reserve their spot online for £2, a donation that goes towards supporting the County Community Trust.
Sales for the Cheadle End will be open initially, and the Together Stand will be available on demand.
The event, which is scheduled to end by 5:30 p.m., will also include the 2023–2024 Club President Steve Bellis End of Season Awards.
The club’s slogan is “Animo Et Fide,” which translates to “With Courage and Faith,” and it conveys optimism that many people would join in celebrating this historic occasion.
