After finishing his first season in England as the Stoke City supporters’ player of the year, Bae Junho thanked his teammates and supporters in a message.

After completing his arduous personal season, 20-year-old Junho has returned to South Korea. Since March of last year, he has been playing without a real break. He has represented his country at several levels, first with Daejeon Hana Citizen and then with Stoke, whom he joined in August. He has been included in 76 match day squads.

“Thank you to all the fans who supported my first season in England,” he posted on social media. I was also content to have excellent teammates. Thanks to you people, it was a joyous season.

This season’s backup custodian, Blondy Nna Noukeu, has announced his departure from the team.

“Five years ago, God blessed me with the chance to fulfil a childhood dream of mine: to play football and sign my first professional contract at Stoke City,” the man stated.

“I can only say thank you to everyone who helped make that dream come true during those five years, but it’s time for me to leave the club today. I had the good fortune to get to know a tonne of amazing people, including coaches, players, staff, and fans. They not only helped me develop as a football player but also as a guy, and I’m glad to call them friends now.

“I’m wishing everyone at the club the best of luck and many more prosperous times in the future. I’ve enjoyed and been honoured to represent Stoke City.
