A man has been found dead in a Potteries park. Paramedics have confirmed they were called to a ‘medical emergency’ at Longton Park yesterday afternoon. However, sadly, nothing could be done to save the man who was confirmed dead at the scene. StokeonTrentLive reported how residents had spotted a number of police officers and paramedics at the park off Trentham Road. Today and West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that sadly the man was confirmed dead at the scene. The alarm had been raised just after 2pm yesterday.
A spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency at Queens Park. Two ambulances attended the scene. “On arrival we discovered one patient, a man. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
