Three people were taken to the hospital for precautionary measures following a helicopter crash in Bridgeville on Sunday afternoon, Delaware State Police said.

The people on the flight included the 62-year-old pilot, a 41-year-old Lewes woman and two children, ages 7 and 4.

Officials say while there were no injuries, the three passengers were taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital because of the ages of the children. Earlier reports from Delaware State Police indicated three were taken to the hospital for “non-life-threatening injuries.”

State police said the crash happened at about 1:37 p.m. at Evans Produce Farm at 9843 Seashore Highway. The farm was holding a two-day fall festival this weekend that on Sunday featured helicopter rides by J&J Shop Heliair, according to its website.
