At Uxbridge, we take pride in providing a tranquil, home-like environment for each child to thrive in. The single-story nursery is in a fantastic location, with a well-equipped outside space that encourages outdoor play and an active lifestyle. It is ideal for busy families that work or live locally.
Babies begin their journey with us in their own room, where they feel safe and secure enough to explore their surroundings. There are numerous age-appropriate items available to aid in their development and learning, including soft play equipment, mirrors, and musical instruments. Once newborns gain confidence, they go on to the toddler area, where they are encouraged to be active learners through exploration and intentional play.
When children reach the age of three, they go on to the Pre-School room, which has planned programmes and activities to help them prepare for the transition from nursery to school. To help with this, our nursery provides a ‘Brighter Learning Approach’, which is developed as a learning enrichment that complements our core curriculum programme. The approach encourages children’s natural curiosity while focusing on critical skills, knowledge, and attitudes. We feel that these are essential for every child’s happiness and wellbeing.
