Earlier today, an air ambulance was observed operating close to Swanage’s King George Playing Field.
A number of ambulances were parked outside the Swanage Information Centre along the waterfront.
“At 2.51pm on Tuesday, August 15, Dorset Police received a request from the ambulance service for assistance with a medical emergency at the Swanage Information Centre,” a spokeswoman for the department stated.
“Unfortunately, a man’s next of kin were informed and he was declared deceased at the scene.
