The family of a Swindon man who has been missing for over a week has begged him to ‘come home’.
Trevor Barnard, 43, was last seen in the Pinehurst area on Monday, April 1, and has not been seen since then.
Wiltshire Police has become increasingly concerned about his whereabouts and a search has been underway since then.
His fiancée Alison’s sister Kerry Jacobs has also posted multiple pleas on social media throughout the period of his disappearance.
Her most recent message on April 10 said: “Trevor Graham Barnard has gone missing he’s a 43-year-old man 6ft 2.
“He has a very worried fiancée and five children at home.
“Trevor if you see this please come home and if anyone else sees him please let us know.
“We are extremely concerned as a family and it has now nine days please someone must have seen him
Following her initial Facebook post on April 3, she verified on April 4 that he was still missing and expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and correspondence.
“Please, everyone, remain alert and check all of your CCTV starting at 10 p.m. on Monday.
“There is no way he can simply disappear and not be captured on video. particularly if you’re nearby Pinehurst.
“Thank you for everyone’s continued support and prayers, it really does mean a lot.”
Trevor has been described as approximately 6ft 2in tall with a shaved head and an eyebrow piercing above his right eye.
A National Police Air Service chopper was sent to conduct a search of the Pinehurst region on April 3.
In relation to Trevor’s disappearance, Wiltshire Police published a picture of a guy on April 6 that they wished to talk with.
“We are really keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with his disappearance as part of our investigation to locate missing Swindon man Trevor,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson stated.
However, the next day, a police representative verified that the man was no longer being investigated.
“Thank you for sharing our appeal yesterday regarding a man we wanted to identify as part of our investigation into missing Swindon man Trevor,” they stated.
“The man has been identified, so we don’t need to talk to him anymore.”
Det Insp Helen Clarke stated in the most recent police appeal: “We need to hear from anyone who has seen Trevor since he was reported missing on April 1.”
“Please check doorbell, dash and CCTV footage; even a minor clue could yield crucial information for our investigation.
Additionally, I would like to make a direct appeal to Trevor. If at all possible, please get in touch with a family member or the police right away so we can make sure you’re doing okay.
“Traubie, your family is very concerned about you.”
