Swindon striker who developed unusual injury ruled out for the rest of the season

Not on loan The Swindon Advertiser reports that Tomi Adeloye, a striker for Swindon Town, will be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
The attacker has been allowed to play for Partick Thistle in Scotland throughout this campaign by Swindon Town.

Adeloye, 28, has eight goals for the Scottish Championship team in all competitions.


But according to the Swindon Advertiser’s most recent information, he underwent surgery and might have played his final game with the Jaguars.

Adeloye’s long-term future with the League Two team is now uncertain, since his contract with Swindon expires at the end of June.

He signed a two-year contract with them in 2022, but he had a difficult season, scoring just once in 12 games.
His current priorities will be returning as quickly as possible to his previous level of fitness and speed.

After taking a weekend off, Swindon will play their home game against Notts County on Friday. Easter Monday will then see them play Sutton United away.

The Robins have lost their last three games in a row and have not won in their previous four games.

Although they are in 20th position, are 11 points above the drop zone with only seven fixtures left so won’t go down.
