The Designer Rooms in Irvine has launched its closing down sale ahead of its move to Kilmarnock.
The Ayrshire company made the announcement earlier this month that it was moving to a larger location in the East Ayrshire town and closing and merging its Irvine and Kilmarnock stores.
The firm will take over the existing Poundstretchers store at Fowlds Street in Kilmarnock – set to become one of the biggest furniture stores in Scotland.
Although the company currently employs over 100 locals, the relocation will result in the creation of new jobs both in-store and behind the scenes.
At its Irvine location, the company is currently offering discounts of up to 80%, with “no reasonable offers refused”.
“Go on down to Ayr Road, Irvine, and grab yourself a bargain,” an official stated.
“Remember you are saving up to 80% off, with many items being reduced to cost price or lower, with no reasonable offers refused!”
The company will not be impacted by the Irvine and Kilmarnock moves. It also operates a store on Prestwick Road in Ayr, as well as locations at the Braehead and Silverburn shopping centres, close to Glasgow, MacKinnon Mills in Coatbridge and Birkenshaw Retail Park in Uddingston, and a clearance outlet at Caledonian Retail Park in Wishaw.
