Bobby Pointon, a Bradford native, 20, made his Valley Parade debut earlier this year.

Pointon volunteered at a food truck following Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Sutton United, who are currently in last place, at home. Pointon was not used as a substitute.

All attendees were served hot meals from the Penny Appeal truck.

“Excellent turnout at our @pennyappeal #foodtruck on Saturday – attendees got hot meals to enjoy in our #CityHub,” stated a post on the Bradford City FC Community Foundation X account.

“Thanks to @officialbantams’ Bobby Pointon for pitching in, and our partners @bcafc_women, @BradfordLifts and #Tiffin”

Penny Appeal offers water solutions, emergency food assistance, and medical care to alleviate poverty in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
