The two were freed with conditions attached to their release, preventing them from going to North Yorkshire.

According to authorities, TWO youngsters have been taken into custody for drug and weapon offenses in a town in North Yorkshire.

According to North Yorkshire Police, the arrest was made on Selby’s Volta Street early this morning (Sunday, September 15).

A police spokeswoman reported that during the property search, a lock knife, a knuckle duster, and a large amount of brown wraps—which they believed to be class A drugs—were discovered.

Two West Midlands residents, a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, were taken into custody on suspicion of having an offensive weapon and having a hand in the distribution of a class A narcotic.

“Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing team were on routine enquiries at the property,” the spokeswoman stated.

“When the police arrived, two individuals bolted from a basement room and into another, but our team moved fast to apprehend them.

After that, both men were freed on bond with orders not to enter North Yorkshire.
