The billionaire X owner, Elon Musk, announced Friday night that his social media platform’s users would soon see fresh changes.
Unsurprisingly, Musk revealed the algorithm adjustments in a post on his X platform, saying he hoped they would lead to a more positive user experience.
“An algorithm change to encourage more educational and entertaining material is on the horizon.
In reference to the website’s engineering account, Musk wrote on his account, “We will publish the changes to @XEng.” Maximizing unregretted user-seconds is our aim.
There is too much negativity being spread, which theoretically increases user time but not regrettable user time.
“We’re also working on easy ways for you to adjust the content feed dynamically, so you can have what you want at any given moment,” he wrote in a subsequent post.
