Five men dead after car crash and fire in forest town..

Brigham City, Utah — A deadly crash and fire occurred in Brigham City on Saturday night, killing one man.

According to a press release, the Brigham City Police Department and Brigham City Fire Department responded to a complaint of an automobile colliding with a building at 9:30 p.m. The crash occurred at 807 W. Forest St.

Witnesses informed police that 20-year-old Riverdale resident Brendyn Miller smashed into the structure and hit the gas line. This led Miller’s vehicle to catch fire and the structure to collapse on it. Miller was the sole occupant of the automobile.

800 West between 50 South and Forest is now closed.

The cause of the crash is still unknown. Police and firefighters are investigating the event.
