There has been “carnage” on the M6 due to a serious collision brought on by terrible weather.

Witnessing the incident, one passenger in a car described it as “carnage” on the freeway. At one side of the intersection, cars were being rerouted off the freeway and back on.
website with traffic data According to Inrix, one lane was restricted as a result of the collision, which was causing queueing traffic heading north.
There are still heavy delays but no reported lane closure now according to Inrix. We will keep you updated if that situation changes.
