A malfunctioning electrical system resulted in a car fire in St Ives.
The fire occurred on Saturday, September 14 at 6:09 p.m. in Houghton Road.
When the fire department was attending to the situation, police were called to help with any traffic problems.
“Unfortunately, the vehicle had a slight mechanical issue which caused it to set alight but luckily no one was hurt, and traffic was quickly moving again,” according to a police spokesperson.
