Parents and two young kids found dead in rural home

A family of four was found dead in a home in Harrow, on Thursday afternoon — leaving the tight-knit southwestern Ontario community reeling. Ontario Provincial Police have said the causes of death and the identities of the deceased “cannot yet be confirmed,” but described all four deceased as “victims” and said that police believe “there is no imminent threat to public safety.”

Essex Mayor Sherry Bondy said the victims were a mother, father and their two children: a boy and a girl. Flags are being lowered to half-mast as the tight-knit community mourns and a vigil has been scheduled for Sunday evening at the Harrow Soccer Fields.
