Following an accident in Queensland’s Bundaberg Region, three persons have passed away.

Three cars collided on Childers Road at Rosevale Drive in South Bingera, southwest of Bundaberg, at roughly 9.10 a.m.; police are now on the scene.

A 60-year-old man and two 62- and 63-year-old ladies have been confirmed as the three individuals who perished at the site.

As per Queensland Ambulance Service’s Gavin Becker, the collision happened inside a speed limit of 100 km/h.

A head-on collision was involved in the crash, according to a statement from Queensland Police.

Police are unsure of the cause of the Holden Commodore’s alleged erroneous turn onto the wrong side of the road and subsequent collision with a Honda Jazz.

The Hyundai car that was following the Honda struck the Honda after it rolled and struck a tree at the side of the road.

The two women rode in the Honda, and the sixty-year-old man drove the Holden.

It was necessary to extract a 65-year-old man from the Honda. He was sitting in the passenger-side front seat.

According to a Queensland Ambulance spokesman, he was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition, as Yahoo News Australia reported.

After claiming to have back pain, the 65-year-old woman driving the Hyundai was taken to the hospital in a stable state.

The rescue helicopter was called to the location, but the QAS official emphasised that it wasn’t necessary.

Investigating right now is the forensic crash unit.
