On Friday, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a collision occurred between Junction 3 and Junction 4.
Police and the ambulance service were among the emergency personnel who responded to the location and treated one person.
According to reports, lanes were blocked, and heavy traffic persisted far into the afternoon.
“We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the M3, between junctions 3 and 4, at around 11am this morning,” a Surrey Police spokesperson stated.
“Officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, and one person was given medical treatment at the scene.”
