The Wakefield Trinity is pleased to announce that Cameron Scott has joined from Hull FC!
With a three-year option, the 24-year-old signs a two-year contract to join Trinity.
Formerly a young player for the Bradford Bulls, Scott moved to Hull FC at an early age and progressed through their academy system before making his Super League debut in 2018.
The centre back made his Super League debut in the same year that he captained the England Academy team. He went on to play in almost 70 games for the Black and White while also appearing on loan for Doncaster, Dewsbury, York, and Leigh.
This year, Scott has played 11 times for Hull mixing up his position between centre and back row proving to be effective in both positions.
He joins Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken as Trinity’s 2025 recruitments to be confirmed so far.
Scott says the move to Wakefield was something that he could not turn down: “I’m really excited at the opportunity of coming to Wakefield. It’s a club that’s doing a lot of things right, both on and off the field and are heading in the right direction. I feel I reached the point in my career where I needed something new and when Wakefield came in the opportunity was too good to miss”
