Countless supporters of Wakefield Trinity have exchanged home West Yorkshire for Wembley in order to witness their team compete in the thrilling 1895 Cup final.
Finally, tonight, June 8, at 5:45 p.m., the amazing Wakefield Trinity will play the Sheffield Eagles in the 1895 Cup final.

The team has been waiting 45 years, since this is Wakefield Trinity’s first trip to Wembley Stadium since 1979.

Hundreds of supporters have expressed their support for the Trinity team by donning red, white, and blue attire.

Andrew Schofield, who sponsors Wakefield Trinity, is bringing seventeen members of his family, friends, and colleagues to the big game.

“It’s amazing to be at Wembley,” he stated.

“A lot of people have mentioned that Wakefield has more supporters than Warrington and Wigan do.”

“It’s great to be at Wembley for a Cup final, but it’s even better when it’s your team you grew up with,” Phil Cowsey stated.

“It’s enormous, especially after 45 years!”

Gill Harpin, another admirer, expressed her support as well.

“It’s amazing and unbelievable that we’re here at Wembley,” she remarked. The game is going to be exciting.

The Sheffield Eagles and Wakefield Trinity will play this afternoon at 5:45 p.m.
