Ismael watched his Watford team lose 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday to struggling Huddersfield Town, as the Terriers triumphed at home.

With this result, Watford suffered their sixth defeat in as many games, and they are starting to lose ground on the race for a Championship playoff berth.

There are currently eleven points separating the Hornets from the final playoff spot.

The pressure is on Watford to win all three points when they play Millwall, who recently hired a new manager.
Furthermore, rumours have circulated that Ismael might not be leading Watford to the Den.

Neil Harris, who was just brought in by Millwall to help them out of their Championship rut, got off to a fantastic start on Saturday, leading his team to a 2-1 victory away against Southampton.

Next Saturday, Harris will have to test his cunning against Ismael, but it’s unclear if Watford has a different boss in the dugout.

After Chris Wilder left last summer, the position was given to the Frenchman.
