After completing a move for Niclas Fullkrug on Monday, West Ham United could now turn to a player who the striker already knows very well.
At Ham, Julen Lopetegui beganWest the summer with high goals in mind. He felt that the team lacked both depth and talent. Lopetegui, who worked closely with Tim Steidten, desired that West Ham sign eight or more players this summer.
And with Fullkrug becoming the most recent addition, the Hammers have now added five new players as the closing weeks of the transfer window draw near.
Recently, Crysencio Summerville also joined; both players will instantly strengthen Lopetegui’s front line.
But, considering that TBR Football just revealed that West Ham is willing to let go of both Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd this summer, it’s possible that the east Londoners will still be a little thin at the back.
Ben Johnson, Thilo Kehrer, and Angelo Ogbonna have all left, but Max Kilman has entered, having said that, West Ham is now being linked to an unexpected transfer for German great Mats Hummels, 35.
