Prior to the upcoming term, Wigan Athletic has confirmed the first three games of their preseason schedule.
Additionally, fans can tuck into three mouthwatering Lancashire dishes.
The first match takes place at the Wham! Stadium on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 pm, with a two-hour halftime session against Accrington Stanley.
John Doolan, a first-team coach and former Latics player, will lead the Accies from the dugout. Recently, Wigan native Ged Brannan joined Doolan as an assistant manager.
Latics will also travel to Victory Park to face National League North side Chorley FC on Friday, July 19 (7:30pm).
Shaun Maloney’s team will play Championship team Blackburn Rovers at the newly renamed Brick Community Stadium on Saturday, July 27 at 3 p.m. to close out July.

The opening weekend of the League One campaign is set for August 10–11.
