A Wigan man has been charged with no fewer than twenty counts of historical child sexual abuse, including rape.
Before Wigan justices, Daniel Dootson, 49, of Sunleigh Road, Hindley, was charged with ten counts of indecent assault, six counts of oral rape, and two counts of attempted rape against a girl between the years 2000 and 2004 while she was a primary school student.
In addition, he faces charges of indecent assault and sexual touching of a second girl, who was between the ages of five and nine, between 2016 and 2021.
Dootson will appear in court for the first time on June 12 at Bolton Crown Court, where the bench promptly forwarded the case.
He was freed on unconditional bail and has not yet entered a plea.
