After crushing Forest Green Rovers 6-0 on Saturday afternoon to earn promotion, Wrexham is back in League One.

The promotion is being celebrated by Wrexham supporters for the second time in a year.

After moving from the National League to League Two the previous season, Wrexham will now begin the upcoming campaign in League One.

After finishing the task, Phil Parkinson’s team had to pray for a favour from Mansfield Town on Saturday.

Paul Mullin scored a brace as Wrexham thrashed Forest Green Rovers in the first half, which went amazingly well.

Along with Ryan Inniss’ own goal, Elliot Lee, Ryan Barnett, and Jack Marriott also scored goals.

Fans of Wrexham will have been obsessively monitoring their phones for news from Mansfield Town’s match against MK Dons.

At the STōK Cae Ras, Mansfield’s 4-1 victory over MK Dons helped Wrexham cross the finish line and ignite a massive pitch invasion.

Accrington owner reacts to Wrexham promotion

The last couple of years have been a dream come true for Wrexham supporters, but not everybody is happy.

The arrival of two Hollywood celebrities at Wrexham has put a target on the club’s back and many want to see the club fail.

Those people didn’t have the best of weekends and Accrington chairman Andy Holt has now shared his reaction.

Holt has already voiced his opposition to Wrexham and shared a social media message to Ryan Reynolds that at first glance seemed a little snarky.

“Ryan, congratulations! I genuinely have no idea how you manage! Amazing accomplishment,” remarked Holt. “I hope you have success with the triple,” he said.

Holt has persisted in discussing Wrexham this morning, emphasising that the team hasn’t violated any regulations.

Holt, however, asserts that the rules are “wrong,” most likely in reference to the financial contributions Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have made to Wrexham in contrast to other League Two players.
