Former Norwich City full-back Jordan Thomas, who made his debut against Manchester City, has signed with Yeovil Town. Thomas made just one appearance for the Canaries during the 2019–20 season, in the final two minutes of a 5-0 loss to Pep Guardiola’s team in the season’s final game. Under Daniel Farke, he was on the bench three times. The following summer, he signed a season-long loan with League Two side Leyton Orient, but he only made four appearances before Norwich released him in 2021.

In July of that year, Thomas agreed to a two-year contract with Barnet. He played for the London club for 27 games before moving on to Hampton & Richmond Borough in March of 2023.

“I’m really delighted to finally be here,” he said on Yeovil’s official channels after agreeing to a two-year contract with the recently promoted National League team.

“A few weeks ago, I came here to meet the gaffer. We had a great conversation and he gave me a tour of the facility.

I’m eager to get going. This, in my opinion, is the best course of action for me to advance professionally and demonstrate my abilities to others.”

In 2018, Thomas joined City from Huddersfield Town, where he was a highly regarded adolescent. He scored one goal in 34 outings for the club’s under-18 and under-21 teams.
